We spent Christmas Day 2016 cuddling with our new bottle of DeadheadRum!
It can be a point of concern when a bottle is too impressive as it often indicates that the makers spent more time on the presentation than the product. Dead Head is an exception as it proved to be a tasty and fairly smooth blended rum. It has a good balance of flavors but not a great deal of depth. Starts with a good aroma and notes of vanilla and cinnamon up front and a slightly spicy finish. The multiple barrel casking process gives the rum nice subtle oak flavors but nothing strong enough to prevent it from mixing well.
